PEER TEACHING
PEER TEACHING & LEARNING
Build a More Engaged Classroom with Peer Teaching & Learning
Peer teaching involves one or more students teaching other students in a particular subject area and builds on the belief that “to teach is to learn twice” (Whitman, 1998).”
Studies show that the learning process through peer teaching is reciprocal. In fact, students often feel more comfortable when exchanging any kind of information with classmates or any other peers. In addition, it has been proved that peer teaching makes students excel, helping them obtain higher academic achievements. But how often are these students exposed to these enhanced learning outcomes?
